During my last trip to Pakistan, I visited Blind Lake Shigar — a serene, shimmering lake cradled by the majestic peaks of the Karakoram range. As the sun began to set, the valleys slowly sank into shadow while the mountain slopes glowed with golden light. It was a breathtaking contrast, a moment of stillness and grandeur unfolding all at once. The Himalayas have left a profound impression on me, and this painting is my way of honouring that beauty and the sense of awe it inspired.
