One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen was Fairy Meadows in Pakistan. And not only was the destination absolutely magical, but so was the journey of getting there and coming back. The views were amazing, the trek was quiet. The local guides were amazing, friendly and helpful. This painting shows the descend from the Fairy Meadows with the glorious Nanga Parbat in the background - the stunning snowy mountain side and the glacier at her feet.
